That Make Up Torch Media
Phil is a designer, developer, strategist, etc. As president of Torch Media he is involved in all aspects of the company. But truth be told, he really enjoys just working behind the scenes on the latest development project.
Melanie is our account manager and works closely with many of our print projects. She’s passionate about great design and is responsible for creating some of the happiest customers around.
Our most recent addition, Mohammed is a talented HTML/CSS/Cold Fusion developer.
The unmentionables
We’ve got a couple of key players on our team that work elsewhere but can’t go without being mentioned. Shannon works out of Fredericton and provides us with beautiful, clean designs. Ken works out of Halifax and excels at account management and generating sales leads. And last, but not least is Alan, our UI and design consultant from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
Website Development
Torch Media was a long time coming. I started dabbling with websites in early 2002 when the place I was employed at needed a website but didn’t have funds necessary to purchase one. So my curiosity and their necessity got the best of us, and my web development career was started.
It took almost a year and a half of self-training before anyone would pay me to work for them, but small jobs started trickling in and not too long after that, I landed a job maintaining a corporate website for a ski resort.
Since then, one job has always lead to another and the snowball effect is probably the reason you are here today.
